Well ladies and gentlemen we did it, we've officially put on a good sized car show. The final count was 78 vehicles on a small patch of grass at Jensen Grove in Blackfoot Idaho. We need to thank: Denise Miles, Casey Grover, Never Done Girl Brielle, Eric McBride, Scott Mildon, Bill Schultz, Thunder Racing Engines and lots of other people for stepping up and helping make this thing work. Photos by: Deona Gardner. According to the newspaper we now have the record for putting on the largest car show in Blackfoot's history (imagine what we can do with more time!). Here are the Photos from the 2016 Never Done Car & Bike Show at the Celebrate Blackfoot event.

We began the event with a mile and a half parade down Airport Rd.
The Never Done Super Duty was out in front representing the 40+ show vehicles participating in the parade. There were also tractors, horses, wagons, and lots of candy!
The Car & Bike Show
After the parade it was time to kick off the car show! We were able to squeeze 78 vehicles into the space we had available, next year we're hoping for enough room to double that!
I'll bet you haven't seen one of these before, and Yes that is a 454 under the hood!
Look at this home made custom buggy, this guy definitely had some experience.
The owner of this Camaro built this thing from the ground up in his garage. He must have done something right because it afforded him our Best Muscle Car Trophy!
Insanely clean Firebird, this thing was definitely in the running for awards.
Rootbeer paint anyone? Absolutely gorgeous in person.
This was a REAL moonshiner! It still has the box in the trunk! Super cool!!
This mustang won 3rd place in the parade. It may look familiar to some of you, we've featured it before in a calendar!
This was the 2nd place winner in the parade as well as our Best Hot Rod Trophy winner.
This guy brought 2 really cool off road vehicles, one of which we know you haven't seen before!
We're pretty sure this guy was using our photo opp to promote his product, but he had a cool car so buy whatever it is he's selling!
This isn't something you see every day. Really cool race car.
Ever wonder what an INCREDIBLY nasty 289 sounds like? Ask this guy, he won our Best Sounding Exhaust Trophy. The crowd literally jumped when he throttled it!
Best Off Road went to this beast.
Take a moment to look at this bike, SOOO much detail, enough for the Best Bike Award
Looking for a project? This would make a cool one!
Recognize this? We've featured it several times, most popularly in our burnout video.
The Ramp Rod. This is one of the coolest purpose built ramp trucks we've ever seen! That super rare Buick race car on the back belongs to Thunder Racing Engines.
This Chevelle was packing a dirty secret, it had an ls3 under the hood and LOTS of other goodies. Very clean build.
This 1969 Mach 1 Mustang won 1st place in the parade and has a very special place in our hearts.
Fun was had! This was a very relaxed and open feel show.
Never Done Girl Brielle from the cover of our 2016 calendar was on hand to meet fans.
These ladies rocked the Never Done booth during the show. They were selling clothing, refreshments, taking "crowd favorite" votes, answering questions. Left to right: Never Done Girl Brielle, Denise Miles, and Casey Grover. Thank you again ladies!
The Rat Bug won our "Best Rat Rod" award.
This beautiful Camaro was absolutely on point, the paint was perfect, the engine was a BEAST, the stance was good, the interior was excellent and on top of all of that every single nook and cranny was clean or polished. This car won the "Biggest Engine" award as well as the prestigious "Never Done Best In Show Award". Excellent showing.
This 37 Ford won both "Best Paint" and "Crowd Favorite". The pictures don't do this paint justice, it was BEAUTIFUL!
This 35 Ford won 2nd place in the parade as well as "Best Hot Rod".
We forgot to take pictures of the trophies, luckily Jolly's Photography shared a few on our facebook page, this is one of theirs. Click the photo to check out their page.
We made sure judging was completely fair, here's how we did it:
1. Judges personal vehicles were only eligible for the "Crowd Favorite" award.
2. Each of the 4 judges (Clint Grover, Bill Schultz, Scott Mildon and Eric McBride) had a specialty to ensure all aspects of professional judging were covered.
3. Finalists were selected via majority rule, winners were then agreed upon unanimously by all 4 judges (very time consuming but it guaranteed a fair contest).
4. To make sure that no one vehicle could take the entire show we enforced a maximum trophy limit of 3. Best in Show, best in class and "Crowd Favorite".
Here are a few of the trophy winners!
We wanted to do something special for the "Never Done Best In Show" award, we chose a high end black acrylic award sized to fit on the shelf in the garage or the office.
Here's one VERY happy dual award winner. She picked up the "Best Paint" as well as the "Crowd Favorite" awards. We had a total of 314 votes for "Crowd Favorite", her 37 Ford took it by a landslide!
