Never Done Bronco

The Never Done Bronco is currently our the most famous vehicle in our lineup, it's been featured multiple times in Petersen's 4 Wheel & Off Road Magazine in their OOPS section, several off road web forums, our YouTube channel and now it's scheduled to grace the silver screen as b-roll on The Discovery Channels show Diesel Brothers.

1978-79 Ford Bronco Off Road - Never Done

The Never Done Bronco started life as a 1978 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT 4x4. It came equipped with the Ford 400m (400 modified) under the hood, an NP205 transfer case, C-6 automatic transmission, Dana 44 front axle and the legendary Ford 9" rear axle.

The Bronco belonged to Clint's former mother-in-law and he'd has his eye on it for YEARS! One day the stars aligned and he got an opportunity to get his hands on it, at the time the bronco had been sitting for years, the carb was pissing gas everywhere and the rear main seal was dropping a quart of oil every 5 minutes but it wasn't enough to keep him away so he scooped it up. After a quick $4500 in repairs and a new set of tires the Bronco was road ready and was Clint's daily driver for the next couple of years.

The Build Sheet (So far)

Engine:

400M, Edelbrock Performer 4 barrel aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock 600cfm Carb (sometimes it runs a custom built Holley 600), HEI ignition, 170 amp alternator, custom exhaust with Summit Racing Chambered mufflers.

Tires:

33x12.5x16 Maxxis Big Horns (the best off road tires we've EVER used).

Interior:

Multiple layers of FatMat sound deadener throughout entire interior, New Black carpet, JVC head unit, new speaker wiring, MTX 6 1/2" doors, MTX 6x9" rear speakers, Single 12" Sub.

Other:

Everything else is stock. Although there is currently a 460 big block Ford being built for the bronco and talk of finishing the interior and a suspension lift with bigger wheels and tires.

FatMat in 78-79 Never Done Bronco

The FatMat is 2 layers thick on the floor and ceiling and 1 layer thick on the sides. It made a HUGE difference in interior sound damping.
